Booking.com Italy SRL, one of the support companies in Italy, is looking for a Junior Account Manager Hotels in Italy.
As a Junior Account Manager in the Hotel Department, you are responsible for hotel account management in secondary and tertiary markets. You will assist in and advise on the improvement of availability and supply of hotels in order to provide support to Booking.com in meeting the demands of the visitors on the Booking.com website. You will report to the Senior Account Manager.
This fulltime position will be based in our Venice office.
Main responsibilities:
• Visit hotels in secondary and tertiary markets in Italy;
• Support Booking.com BV’s-strategy for hotel availability and supply within Italy;
• Perform account management services to some of the hotel partners in Italy;
• Inform hotels and advise on allotment, availability and supply;
• Liaison person for hotels to contact when they have questions;
• Promote the Booking.com BV brand name and its online reservation services to hotels;
• Providing hotels with information and advice by mail and email, including follow-ups;
• Follow up on cancellations and evaluations;
• In consultation with the Account Managers, provide information support to Booking.com for new hotels;
• Check statistics in the control room and follow up;
• Implement an action plan with the Account Manager;
• Prepare weekly reports;
• You will also need to be versatile and adapt quickly to the latest guidelines from Booking.com BV.


Requisiti

Titolo di studio minimo:Licenza media
Esperienza minima:2 anni
Requisiti minimi:• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant account management function;
• Fluent English and Italian speaker and writer;
• Affinity/experience within e-travel and/or hotel/travel industry is a plus;
• Pro-active, sense of responsibility, friendly and can work independently;
• Flexibility, accuracy, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail;
• Great face-to-face and telephone communication skills;
• Team player, motivated and enjoys to work in e-travel and hospitality;
• Business focused;
• Positive attitude;
• Hotel School or University background preferred;
• Driver’s license and availability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• You already have a work permit to work in Italy.
